Glint's challenge vs reputation points - Guild Wars Forums

Today i did the Glint's challenge a few times. According to wiki:

Rewards
- After the party defeats the final wave, a Chest of the Brotherhood will spawn, which drops a Cloth of the Brotherhood and a Destroyer Core (in Hard Mode one Cloth of the Brotherhood and 5 Destroyer Cores) for each member.
- 25 Dwarf reputation points per wave defeated.

Records
Updated scores appear on Consular Rahburt's record board, shortly after the old ones are broken.

- Each party member will be awarded 1500 Delver Reputation points should they break the daily record.
- Each party member will be awarded 3000 Delver Reputation points should they break the monthly record.
- Each party member will be awarded 6000 Delver Reputation points should they break the quarterly record (3 months).

I played on my ritualist (who is R9 dwarven), had the stouted title up while playing, beated all 6 waves in 20-21 minutes, always got 2000+ points (which isnt good enough to beat any record), but i never gain ANY dwarven reputation points for beating the waves...

After the chest spawns i do see a message about 0 dwarven points, but its behind other messages so i cant read it completly and it doesnt show up in the console/log either. That makes it hard to understand why i dont get any dwarven points for beating waves.

I couldnt find any info about the on wiki or this forum (yes i used the search function), so i am really puzzled about this...

Does anyone know why i dont get the reputation points and/or what that end-message is saying?

You don't earn points in normal mode after rank 8.

Ok, ty for the info... i assume that info is related to "reputation points" but the info on wiki made me think you always should get those points

Yeah, the wording of that particular page is kind of misleading. But to my knowledge, other than as quest rewards you can't gain rep points in Normal Mode after reaching rank 8.
